Primeira exposição em Lisboa do artista grego CHRIS KATROUTSOS. "I believe that through art we have a deeper understanding of ourselves and are born queries that characterize the man from the first moment of its existence as in the present and in the future. Art can awaken us from stressful life situations can help us think about how we will deal with them and show various ways to offer solutions. Through art we can criticize the certainty that we have on various issues such that the material does not behave as perceived by our senses. An example is the movement that can exist in a static painting. Also, we can see things again with the innocent child look and we can communicate, something missing from our era. That is my goal that I deal with Art. The subjects of my paintings selected through contemporary and timeless issues such as ecological destruction, but also through philosophical questions that still exist and have been generally. The influences in my work were the romance, pop art and surrealism".
